Review: 1st Health Glutathione Soap

A co-worker whose sister is a seller introduced this soap to me. I didn’t want to try this at first since I am already happy with CyLeina Black Pearl soap that I have been using for months. But this co-worker’s flowery words and money-back guarantee in addition to my friend’s (who is also a co-worker) testimonial made me decide to go for it.

Unlike other organic soaps that cause tingling sensation during first use, I don’t feel anything with this one. It only feels like I am using Dove beauty bar but less creamy. It doesn’t even have fruity or sweet scent like most organic soaps.

The product claims to whiten skin since it is glutathione but I cannot really say that it provides dramatic result. My face complexion stays the same even after more than a month of use (I am only using it on my face.) But one thing I like most about this soap is that it lessens breakouts. Though I’m not that pimply, there are times when one or two large red bumps appear on my face. But regular use of this soap has significantly decreased my pimples.

1st Health Glutathione soap is not claiming anything about improving pores so I am not expecting this to minimize neither clean my orange-peel skin. This soap can be drying especially if allowed on skin for a few minutes so it is better to rinse thoroughly and apply moisturizer after use.

So far this soap is ok for me and I will keep on using until my remaining bar has been used up. And probably by that time my complexion will become fairer as what the soap promised.

It was the first time that an email from PayPal goes direct to my spam folder and I know something is not right. If I am not an employee in an Information Technology company and not aware of the scams involving PayPal, I might have followed what the email says in a heartbeat. Thankfully I have been hearing stories about this: a co-worker's client cannot access his PayPal account while a friend's friend lost almost $ 2,000 and cannot trace it anymore. Whew! So sad that some people need to resort to this due to poverty, greed and materialism.

To my dear readers and anyone who come across this blog, please... be careful with your accounts online. Review: Deonat Natural Mineral Deodorant Roll-On

After being loyal to Dove Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for how many years, I finally had the courage to try a new product for my underarms. Actually, I have been planning to do so a few months ago but I was kind of scared that whatever product I will use may not give me the same protection and confidence Dove does. It took me like 101% courage to finally give in and look for something new in the market.

Since I have been eyeing and researching about deodorants from DeoNat, I opt to go for this. DeoNat deodorants come in various forms; roll-on, spray and what appears to me as stone like alum but cylindrical. Although I am not a fan of roll-ons, I bought one because it is cheaper compared to spray and easier to use than the stone type (in which you need to wet with water before applying). I wouldn’t buy the expensive variant if I am still on the process of testing the product.

It feels awkward the first time I use DeoNat roll-on since I’m used to deo stick and I have read reviews about the reliability of mineral deodorants when it comes to odor protection. The cool and moist feeling this roll-on cause made me pray that it will not fail me. Since I feel doubtful that it cannot protect me from bad odor, I brought my trusted Dove and visit my office’s comfort room every hour or so to check my underarms.

But thankfully, this product has not failed me even until now. I have been using it for more than two weeks and I have no complains so far. When the product dries after application, I notice that my underarm feels smooth and doesn’t leave white residue like deo sticks do. I have no complains when it comes to protection too! Even after rounding the oval eight times after a day in the office, I don’t feel like I smell sweaty. I still have to wait for the moment when I’m perspiring like any tensed or nervous person does. Hopefully I’ll still like the result. :D

Right now, DeoNat Natural Mineral deodorant exceeded my expectation. I’m not sure if it whitens underarms but I am sure that it doesn’t darken. My underarms feel smooth and of course, I like its scent – my ideal clean-scent, not fruity or musky.

Now if only it eliminates chicken skin… TOTALLY, I’ll surely brag about it! But who knows in the months to come. Change is gradual after all.

Review: Myra Daily Sun Protect Facial Moisturizer

I wasn’t so keen on using moisturizers due to the thought that my oily skin doesn’t need moisturizers at all. But due to frequent reading of articles regarding beauty and skin care as well as influence from friends, I realized that the skin needs moisturizer regardless of the type. I scour the malls' beauty and health section for potential candidates and I come across this one from Myra. What made me really go for this product is its double sunscreen protection claim. It has SPF 15 against UVA/UVB so it isn’t just your ordinary facial moisturizer. For Php 89 surely you will be encouraged to try this.

I have been using this product for more than a couple of weeks now and I have no negative remarks so far. It’s not sticky nor too oily to apply and it doesn’t feel like you’ve applied anything once it has settled on your face. When applied correctly and evenly, it doesn’t leave white marks, patches or residue. Additionally, my skin doesn’t feel oily even a few hours after application.

Myra Daily Sun Protect can be used alone during those days when you want to go out sans makeup or can be used under makeup.

Right now, this product is ok for me but I will still be trying other brands once this has been used up or my skin will react negatively.
