Review: Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. The product is paid for by the reviewer.

I've been hearing about Luxe Organix for a long time but only became interested recently after seeing the FB page of Senyora promote it. Yes, I've been following that page for years and the posts always make my day. Whoever is behind that page is a really smart and funny person.

Going back to the topic, Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen is the latest sunscreen brand I have tried. I've been using it everyday for a little over a month so I think it's time that I do a review.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Luxe Organix Sunscreen is an aqua rich, lightweight, and water-resistant sunscreen provides broad spectrum protection with SPF 50 PA+++ for UVA and UVB. Its quick absorbing and non-greasy formulation makes it perfect for everyday use and even suitable for sensitive skin. Made with additional benefits of Aloe Vera extract to keep skin supple and hydrated throughout the day!

REVIEWS

Packaging and Appearance. I love the overall packaging and appearance of this product. It comes in a plastic pump bottle with yellow label. I haven't encountered difficulty or any issue dispensing the product.  The product itself is cream colored with just the right consistency - not too runny nor too thick.

The box has the same color scheme as the bottle. It contains the description of the product, instruction on how to use, ingredients, manufacturing date and expiry date.

Effectiveness. Although I'm only exposed to the sun a few minutes most of the day, so far the sunscreen has been effective in preventing the darkening of my skin. It doesn't cause allergic reactions, pimples or any other negative effect. It doesn't produce white cast and most of all, it doesn't trigger my skin to produce more oil as compared to Celeteque Dermoscience Sun Care Facial Moisturizer.

Scent. The sunscreen smells light and pleasant. It doesn't hurt my nose the way Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence did. The smell tends to fade shortly so there's nothing to worry about it mixing with the scent of your perfume.

Ingredients. I analyzed the ingredients of this product using CosDNA and the result is quite great. Almost every ingredient is safe to the skin. It contains Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate which indicates that Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen.

Price. The 50ml bottle costs Php 349 and lasts more than a month with daily use. Considering its quality, I think the price point is reasonable.

Availability. Luxe Organix products can be purchased online, Watsons, and other leading beauty stores in the country. I get mine from Beauty Avenue, ktscollectionph or Piggies Shop in Shopee.

  1. Thank you for the review, This is the first time I'm going to try this, I've been using Biore and it's nice but quite expensive. I hope this brand gives good results to my skin as well.
