Review: Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel

Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel is one of the first products I've tried from the brand along with Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen. The first time I purchased this, I got the pouch only since I wasn't sure if it will work for me. I wouldn't want to purchase the entire tub only to find out after a few weeks that it's not making me happy.

Fortunately, the product is good enough for me hence I decided to buy the bigger size after I used up the pouch. I've been using this moisturizer for more than two months now so I think it's time for a review.

Luxe Organic Rosewater Soothing Gel helps and keeps skin hydrated and moisturized throughout the day. It Controls oil production and reduces appearance of enlarged pores. Infused with Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid and Galactomyces.

Packaging and Appearance. The moisturizer comes in two sizes - 100 ml. pouch and 300 ml. tub - both have pink packaging.

The pouch is easy to dispense and less likely to spill as it has a nozzle with a cap. It is recommended not only for those who are using this product on trial but also convenient and handy option for travel.

The tub is similar to most tub containers of other brands of gel moisturizer such as Nature Republic. I love that it comes with a spatula to prevent contamination of the product. One user from Luxe Organix Facebook page shared that she uses the empty Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen as dispenser but I don't recommend doing so as the microbeads get stuck in the pump.

The product itself is clear gel with pink microbeads which are too soft you can't even feel it during application.

Effectiveness. One of the factors that made me decide to try this product is its claim to control oil and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. So far, I'm satisfied about how it helps make my skin less oily even during daytime. I think it also helps that I'm using Luxe Organix Power Glow Gel Cleanser with Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen along with this moisturizer. With regards to addressing my enlarged pores, I think I still have to see that happening.

The product also claims to brighten and even out skin tone and I believe it delivers the claim. I noticed that my skin is softer now and looks healthy. My husband even commented that my skin is better now than it was prior to using Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel.

Scent. The moisturizer has clean, floral scent. It doesn't smell like most other rose variant beauty products and I'm glad about it. This one smells lighter and more refreshing.

Ingredients. The moisturizer contains niacinamide and galactomyces which are known to improve the appearance of pores and regulates oil production. Both ingredients, along with hyaluronic acid, also help minimize fine lines and wrinkles as well as slow down signs of aging.

Price. The pouch, which lasted for about a month with daily use costs Php 129 while the tub which will probably last for three to four months costs Php 259. Some shops offer discounts during sale so watch out for those.

Considering how it affects my skin, the product is definitely affordable.

Availability. The product is available in several branches of Watsons and various Shopee sellers. I got mine from any of my favorite Shopee sellers including Beauty Avenue Ph, ktscollection and piggies shop.

Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel is a great product for someone who wants soft skin and needs to control oil production. While it did not dramatically decrease the size of my pores or reduce bumps, it is helpful in making my skin look brighter and healthier. It is affordable and available in various physical stores and online shops. I think I've found my HG moisturizer. Unless my skin changes, I think I'll be using this product for a while.

Microbeads get stuck in the pump.
