Review: DEOPlus Natural Deodorant Powder

Last summer, I was in a nasty situation when my then deodorant stopped working. Hormonal changes probably caused my strong odor, so strong that the protection of the deodorant I was using wasn't enough. therefore giving me smelly armpits. I went to look for a replacement and I found this DEOPlus Natural Deodorant Poweder.

At first, I was hesitant to try this, doubtful if it will work. But I didn't have a choice as there are limited options for deodorants. Most products being sold in the market are antiperspirant and it is something I want to avoid as much as possible as it prevents my armpits from sweating which isn't too healthy.

REVIEW

Packaging and Appearance. The product is powder white like most deo powder in the market. Nothing unique regarding the appearance of this product. It comes in a white container with an easy open cap.

Effectiveness. Ever since I started using this product, I no longer get bad body odor issues. It has managed to control the odor and my confidence about my hygiene returned.

The product claims that it doesn't darken the underarm skin and so far it's been true to its claims. I've been using this deodorant for a couple of months now and so far I'm satisfied with its effects.

Scent. The product is unscented.

Ingredients. potash alum, hydrous magnesium silicate, magnesium carbonate, percipitated silica, fragrance

Price. The 40g container costs P62 at Watson's and it goes a long way since I only apply just a bit each time.

Availability. This deodorant can be easily bought at grocery stores and drug stores all over the country.

PROS

It is effective in controlling body odor.
It is affordable.

can also be used on feet, back and other body parts that sweat excessively.

CONS

The powder particles tend to get in my nose sometimes and cause me to sneeze. I just need to be careful when applying.

DEOPlus Natural Deodorant Powder us a perfect alternative for anyone who wants to switch to safe underarm products. It is effective in preventing body odor, affordable and readily available in several stores nationwide. It is not messy to apply hence not a problem to bring when travelling.
