Review: All Organics Goji Astringent Bath Soap

The past couple of months have been productive months for me because I was able to publish my targeted number of blog posts. I love it! For the month of August, I intend to maintain it thus I have been motivating myself to make my creative juices flow nonstop. It isn’t that easy though as I have to juggle my time among my fulltime and part time work, exercise, family and personal errands, relationship, friends and other social activities as well as this blog. Tiring, yes, but the results of each of them make life worth living.

If you have read my previous posts, you probably have read my post about my WTF Finds. One of the stuff I got from that auction is this Goji Organic Soap from All Organics. Half of the bar has been used already and I am sharing to you the review of the product.
Description:

Review:

Packaging and Appeal. Like other All Organics soap, this variant comes in a rectangular bar covered with thin transparent plastic. While it doesn’t come in a box, it has a pretty little label containing the company’s logo, list of ingredients, expiry and manufacturing date and other information about the soap.

The color of the bar is red orange and like any other organic soaps, it tends to dissolve easily especially when exposed to moist environment and not allowed to dry after use. To minimize wasting the product and slow down dissolving, I cut it into four parts and use each part one after the other.

Effectiveness. I have been using this soap for around a month already on my underarms, stomach and thighs and sometimes use this on my face as well. The soap is not foamy but lathers alright. It has not cause any negative reaction yet - no stinging or burning sensation and no redness after washing. This variant claims to target oily skin problem but I don’t think it is effective for me as I have been the number one oil-producing member of the family for as long as I can remember. However, if you have combination or dry skin, you may want to do away with this variant as it can cause dryness especially when left on the skin for a few minutes. Try other moisturizing variant that is suited for your skin type.

Product label states that this soap is also a good deodorizer and so far I can attest to that. Having been using this on my underarms, it prevented bad odor even when I go jogging sans deodorant. Yes, I smell sweaty after jogging but not that bad underarm odor common among those who weren’t able to apply deodorant. This variant is winner in this department.

Scent. This soap smells fruity and sweet, typical among various organic soaps available.

Ingredients. Being organic, this soap contains natural ingredients known to have good effects on the skin.

Price. Each soap costs Php 70 but of course, I got mine for a much lesser price since it’s on sale.

Availability. As far as I know, the brand is not available in malls in Iloilo yet thus calls for online purchase either direct from the company or from a reseller.

Will I repurchase?
Yes, but first I will try other variants I already have.

Conclusion.
If you have oily skin, you may want to try this product however, I cannot guarantee that you will be getting results similar to mine. Also, you have to introduce the soap gradually. On your first week, use it every two or three days and observe if you are getting any negative reaction. Gradually increase the frequency of usage as needed. It's safe to use everyday.
