Review: Human Nature Moisturizing Conditioner

I have been using organic soaps for more than a year already but that is not the case with organic shampoo and conditioner. Human Nature is my first attempt with organic hair care products. I have read a few positive reviews about this hair product hence I'm quite hopeful that this will be the solution, or at least one of the solutions, to my dry hair.

But is it any good? Keep reading this review…

Product Description:

Packaging and Appeal. Since it's my 1st time to use this, I decided to get the smallest bottle for the meantime. The 50ml bottle I got comes in a clear bottle with easy to open brown cap. The bottle is not as pliable as other shampoo bottles so squeezing it, especially when the product is running low, is not very easy. As for me, I just left the bottle upside down to make things easy. This isn’t a problem with larger sizes though as they come in tubes.

I got the Mandarin Fresh variant so obviously, the color of the conditioner is very light orange. The consistency is just right, neither too viscous nor runny.

Effectiveness. When it comes to improving my dry hair, this product is so-so. I think it has the same effects as with other conditioners I have used before. It doesn’t give that super shiny hair we often see in shampoo commercials. It makes the hair soft though. I noticed that after washing and removing excess water off my hair, there are less tangles thus less hair fall. There is also less hair fall while washing and rinsing.

Scent. The scent of mandarin fresh variant is nothing grand or overpowering. It smells light and tends to fade in a few minutes.

Ingredients. This conditioner contains natural ingredients thus reducing your exposure to chemicals that could cause negative effects.

Price. The 50ml bottle costs 49, 200ml costs 144.75 and 500ml costs 299.75. Though it doesn’t give me that shiny, shampoo-commercial-worthy hair, I think the price is reasonable.

Availability. This product is only available in Human Nature stores and dealers. Fortunately, there’s already a Human Nature store in my area so no need to buy online or look for dealers.

Would I buy this product again?
Maybe.

Conclusion:
If you want to find out whether or not organic hair care products suit you, you may want to try this one as it is reasonably priced and available in small sizes. You wouldn’t want to buy large bottles only to throw them half-filled, right?
